Keurig Dr. Pepper North America Headquarters – Productive Redevelopment and Cleanup of Brownfields Site into Worldclass Office, Research & Development Campus

With demand for new beverage delivery products surging, Keurig needed a research and development facility with heavy power, for designing, proto-typing and testing its growing line of products. They also needed to meet an aggressive delivery schedule. The Gutierrez Company redeveloped an existing 75,000 square foot office building, taking it down to the bare steel and delivered a 150,000 square foot LEED Gold, R&D facility in 18-months, including design, entitlement, and construction. The new facility, including high-bay space, dry lab, meeting rooms and shipping and receiving, allowed Keurig’s mission critical product development to proceed on schedule. The facility was also connected via a new sky bridge to Keurig’s North American Headquarters, which Gutierrez also developed and constructed from the ground up, as Phase II of the project.
